Dr. Sandeep Walia was born in Denver, CO and grew-up in Houston, TX. Dr. Walia earned his bachelor’s in marketing from the University of Texas at Austin while maintaining a full-time job and working as a coaching intern for the Texas Longhorns. He continued his educational pursuit by getting his M.B.A from Chadron State and attending medical school at Texas Tech University.

Sandeep Singh Walia, MD MBA

Dr. Walia did his ophthalmic residency at the busy Emory Eye Center with over a dozen publications. Additionally, he furthered his surgical training by completing extensive cataract surgery training at Harvard Medical School. He is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with a focus in eyelid surgery, LASIK, glaucoma, MIGS, cataract surgery, intravitreal injections, and medical management of posterior segment diseases like AMD and Diabetic Retinopathy. Away from the office, Dr. Walia loves spending time with his family, being involved in the community as guest lecturer at CSUB, and rooting for his Denver Broncos.
